Frequently asked questions
What happens to a page that is already rotated?
The turn you choose is added to the rotation the page already has, rather than replacing it. A scan already stored at 90 degrees, turned another 90, ends up at 180. Each page tile shows the rotation it will end up with.
How do I rotate only some pages?
Select the pages you want using the page buttons, or type ranges such as 2, 5-7. If you select nothing, every page is rotated.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Rotation changes an instruction stored with the page, not the page content. Nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, so text stays selectable and images are untouched.
Will the rotation stick when I open the file elsewhere?
Yes. The rotation is written into the document, so any standards-compliant PDF reader will display the pages the way you set them.
